DbAdapter XA DataSource Creation

STEP 1:

Enter the username

 

Enter the Password

 

 

 

 

STEP 2:

Click on DataSouces in Home page

 

 

 

 

 

STEP 3:

Click on New and select generic Datasource.

 

 

 

STEP 4:

Enter name of the Datasource:"SampleXADataSource"

 

Enter jndi name"jdbc/SampleXADataSource"

Click Next..

 

 

 

 

 

STEP 5:

Click Next

 

 

 

STEP 6:

Click Next...

 

 

 

 

STEP 7:

 

Enter the Database details....

 

Database Name:

 

Host Name:

 

Port:

 

Database Name:

 

Password:

 

Confirm Password:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

STEP 8:

Click on "Test Configuration" and check whether datasource connection was successful or not.

 

If success click Next...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

STEP 9:

Select Adminserver and

 

Select for "All servers in the cluster " in cluster Box.

 

Click Finish..

 

 

STEP 10:

Go To the Deployments Window....

 

 

 

 

 

STEP 11:

Click on DbAdapter

 

 

 

 

STEP 12:

Click on configuration  and go to the  OutboundConnectionPools

 

 

 

 

 

 

STEP 13:

Click on New

Select " javax.resource.cci.ConnectionFactory"

Click on Next..

 

 

 

 

STEP 14:

Enter the JNDI Name as "eis/DB/SampleXADataSource"

Click on Finish.

 

 

 

STEP 15:

Go To the Deployments window

Click on DbAdapter

 

 

STEP 16:

Click on configuration  and go to the  OutboundConnectionPools

Expand the "javax.resource.cci.ConnectionFactory"

Click on newly created datasource "eis/DB/SampleXADataSource"

 

 

 

 

 

STEP 17:

Go To the Prperties Tab

Enter Property value for xADatasource as "jdbc/SampleXADataSource"

Click Save....

 

 

STEP 18:

Go to Transaction tab and select XA Transaction as shown below...

Click on Save...

 

 

 

 

 

STEP 19:

Go to the Deployments window..

Select "DbAdapter" click on "update".....

 

 

STEP 20:

Select for "Redeploy this application the following deployment files"

Click Next...

 

 

 

 

 

Click Finish...
